Over the years, I’ve taken on a series of personal challenges that have pushed me far beyond my comfort zone - all in support of causes close to my heart.
Event: EVEREST BASE CAMP
Charity: Bowel Cancer UK
In October 2019, I trekked to Everest Base Camp with a close friend, Liz, who had recently lost her father to bowel cancer. It was a deeply personal journey for both of us. This challenge and process journey sparked something deeper - a desire to combine endurance challenges with meaningful impact.

Event: ARCTIC CHALLENGE
Charity: Velindre Cancer hospital
In March 2024, I joined Team Velindre again - this time in the Arctic. We trekked 100km across northern Sweden over seven days, completely self-supported, carrying everything we needed. It was brutal at times, physically and mentally, but also incredibly life-affirming.

I completed the London Marathon 2025 and the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge.

One of the most unforgettable experiences yet - swimming from Alcatraz Island into San Francisco Bay as part of Team Velindre. A 2.4-mile swim in one of the most powerful tidal waters in the world.
